PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a door knob remote control device capable of performing the remote control of the door knob at a low position of door structure. SOLUTION: A door knob 1 as a door opening and closing device provided at a door structure 2 hinged to an opening structure in a door opening manner, is connected to a coupling arm 6 coupled in a rotatable manner at the one end side of a shaft 5 supported in a manner permitting the linear reciprocating motion, the door knob 1 is made operable normally and reversely up to the openable and closable positions of the door knob 1 by the reciprocating motions of the shaft 5, and a foot-operated pedal 7 permitting foot-step operation is installed at the lower portion of a door structure 2 at the other end of the shaft 5.
