PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of a risk of the steering angle of a rear wheel being incapable of returning to a neutral angle when abnormality occurs. SOLUTION: When abnormality occurs to this electric rear wheel steering device (namely when the steering angle of a rear wheel 90 is incapable of being controlled through a first electric motor 4), the steering angle of the rear wheel 90 is returned to a neutral angle through running of a second electric motor 5. Since a feed of a power to the second electric motor 5 is carried out through an eleventh plus source line 15a and a twelfth plus source line 15b, even when either the eleventh plus source line 15a or the second twelfth plus power line 15b is disconnected or short-circuited, a power is fed to the second electric motor 5. This constitution reduces the occurrence of a risk of the second electric motor 5, being a fail safe device (a safety device), being brought into a non- rotation state. |
