PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a link connecting rod for a wiper capable of improving dimensional accuracy at a retainer forming part and keeping the service life of a press metal pattern long. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for a link connecting rod 1 for a wiper is carried out as follows: a plane plate part 1b is formed by crushing processing, a hole 1d is formed on the plate part 1b penetrating the plate part 1b and multiple grooves 1e, 1f are formed alternately on one surface and the other surface of the plate part 1b around the hole 1d. A resin for forming is pressed into the grooves 1e, 1f and a retainer 2 is formed on the plate part 1b on which a hole 1d is formed integrally with the resin for forming pressed into the grooves 1e, 1f.
