PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus reducing the vibration of the float sensor provided to a main ink container as compared with conventional one with respect to needs using an apparatus main body while moving the same during the ejection of ink, reducing the irregularity in the supply amt. of a solvent based on the volatilization of the solvent as compared with conventional one and intending high printing quality for the purpose of stabilizing ink physical property values. SOLUTION: A main ink container 2 having a float sensor 6, an ink sub-tank 3 and a solvent container 4 are provided to an apparatus main body 1 made possible to run and a partition member 7 partitioning the chamber of the main ink container 2 provided to the apparatus main body 1 into a plurality of chambers and making ink freely accessible between the chambers is provided or the float sensor 6 is provided to the almost central part of the main ink container 2 provided to the apparatus main body 1. |
