<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fuel consumption by performing a fuel cut depending on a vehicle traffic situation. SOLUTION: This control device is provided with a function to stop a fuel supply to an internal combustion engine serving as a power source during deceleration. In this case, the device includes a detecting means (a step S1) for detecting a traffic situation in which an abrupt braking is possible to be done during the deceleration with the fuel supply stopped, and a fuel cut control means (a step S2 and a step S3) which delays the restarting timing of the fuel supply compared with a case where the traffic situation is detected when the traffic situation in which the abrupt braking is possible to be done during the deceleration with the fuel supply stopped is not detected by the detecting means (the step S1).</p> |
