摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce NOx while improving an acceleration performance and a combustibility during deceleration. SOLUTION: This control device has an EGR valve basic control quantity setting means 59 as a means for controlling an EGR quantity, an EGR valve control quantity computing means 60, and an EGR valve control means 61. The EGR valve basic control quantity setting means 59 sets the basic control quantity of an EGR valve 38 according to a running mode. The EGR valve control quantity computing means 60 detects an accelerating stage or a decelerating stage from a change rate of an accelerator opening, and sets a correction factor so as to reduce and correct the basic control quantity given by the EGR valve basic control quantity setting means 59. When a running mode is stoichiometric, the last control quantity is computed by applying the correction factor to the basic control quantity. The EGR valve control means 61 controls the lift quantity of the EGR valve 38 by outputting a control signal proportional to the last control quantity.
