PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition having stable hair dyeing action, capable of easily and beautifully grooming hair by including a specific amount of organic dye. SOLUTION: This composition includes at least 0.003 wt.%. of the organic dye, for example, orange dye No 205, yellow dye No 4, yellow dye No 403(1), yellow dye No 5, black dye No 401, purple dye No 401, red dye No 227, red dye No 106 or red dye No 504. In addition to the organic dye, 3-20 wt.%. of N-[3-(10-20)C alkyloxy-2-hydroxypropyl]-L-arginine [for example; (Amisafe) LMA-60(trade name) or the like], is preferably added. The prescribed composition such as a rinse or a shampoo or the like is enumerated. Optional component commonly used in detergents is used, and 0.001-1% of a cationic polymer (for example; a cationized cellulose or the like), or 2-20% of an oily component (for example; silicone or the like) is preferably included.
