PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling, and to lengthen the service life by constituting either of both the obverse and reverse so as to be usable as an outside surface in a tire antiskid device having both inside and outside ropes connected in a ring shape on both the inside and outside of a tire and a connecting rope for connecting these plural places. SOLUTION: This tire antiskid device has both inside and outside ropes 4 connected in a ring shape on both the inside and outside in the width direction of a tire and a connecting rope for connecting these circumferential directional plural places in the direction for crossing a tread of the tire. In this case, a connecting tool 23 is used for a connecting part of the outside rope 4 and a branch part 5b of the connecting rope. In the connecting tool 23, a pair of hook parts 25 are formed in both side parts of a body part 24 by bending a wire in a U shape, and these opposed tip parts 26 are butted to form the whole in an endless shape. Thus, in the connecting tool 23, even if the hook parts 25 are turned in both inside and outside directions, the tire is not damaged, so that either of both the obverse and reverse can be used as an outside surface.
