PURPOSE: A device is provided to reduce noise generated while operating a washing machine by blocking the vibration of a motor from being transferred to an outer container in the washing machine containing the motor having large torque. CONSTITUTION: A bearing housing(6) is installed apart from the bottom of an outer container(1). Herein, the bearing housing supports bearings while guiding a shaft(3) to support a motor unit formed by a rotor(4) and a stator(7) centering upon the shaft. When the bearing housing is supported to the outer container by using plural hanger brackets(15), the end part of the bearing housing is hung on a damping member(17) inserted to the outer container. Herein, the hanger bracket contains a certain eliminating space of vibration not to receive vibration. Thus, the vibration transferred to the hanger bracket is absorbed in the damping member for the outer container not to receive a large amount of vibration. |
