PURPOSE: An ultra high voltage cable connection device is provided to simplify assembly and to reduce the area between the dielectric materials in order to improve insulation. CONSTITUTION: An ultra high voltage cable connection device includes a conductive sleeve(3), a high voltage electrode(13), a rubber balloon(14), a central bronze pipe(5), and a semiconductive rubber(15). The conductive sleeve(3) connects the conductor exposed at both ends of the ultra high voltage cable(12A,12B). The high voltage electrode(13) includes fixing plate(4) on the conductive sleeve and the surface of the electrode(13) is solidified. The rubber balloon(14) surrounds the electrode(13) and dielectric oil or dielectric gas is condensed inside the balloon(14). The central bronze pipe(5) surrounds the rubber balloon. The semiconductive rubber(15) fixes the rubber balloon on the ultra high voltage cable(12A,12B). |
