PURPOSE: An apparatus for alarming to keep watching distance of a television receiver and a method thereof are provided to inform a user of the distance between the television and the user. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for alarming to keep the watch distance of a television receiver includes a distance detector(10), a memory(30), a switch(40), an image signal processor(50) and a micro processor(20). The distance detector(10) detects the distance between a user and the television. The memory(30) stores image signal(Vs) from outside sequentially. The switch(40) selects outer image signal(Vs) when the distance is reasonable while the image signal(Vm) stored in the memory is stored when the distance is reasonable is not reasonable. The image signal processor(50) outputs processed output to a CRT(cathode ray tube). The micro processor(20) controls overall operation of the television receiver. |
