PURPOSE: A supporter for a tape traveling guide member in a magnetic recording player is provided to reduce the number of supporter components for regulating the traveling height of a tape in a deck to simplify the regulating operation. CONSTITUTION: A supporting shaft(23) of a guide roller(20) is inserted into a supporting hole(31) of a base member(30). A male screw portion(24) of the supporting shaft meets a screw protrusion(32). Herein, the screw protrusion is pushed out of the root diameter on the male screw by an elastic supporter(33) for inserting the mail screw. And, the male screw is combined with the screw protrusion. Herein, the supporting shaft is rotated for adjusting the height of the guide roller. The screw protrusion is pushed out of the root diameter of the male screw for the elastic supporter to have a returning force toward a central direction. Therefore, the screw protrusion presses the supporting shaft for being fixed.
