PURPOSE: A shift rail of a manual transmission for a vehicle is provided to prevent the interference between a groove and a housing when a shift rail moves, and to reinforce stiffness of a shaft rail which grooves is formed on. CONSTITUTION: A shift rail of a manual transmission for a vehicle contains the following characteristics: for a shift rail (14) of a manual transmission which shifts making a ball(46) of a detent pin(40) go through many grooves(24) formed on the surface of the shift rail, and a shift rail is respectively extended-formed in the both side of 3, 4 step corresponding selective angles of 1, 2 steps and 5, reverse steps.
