PURPOSE: A timing chain belt for a vehicle is provided to buffer noise occurring due to vibration transmitted from an engine by intruding a pin with phenolic resin. CONSTITUTION: A pin(50) formed in a silent chain of a timing chain is inserted to an insertion hole formed on a link plate(16) and a guide link plate(18). A crank shaft(10) is connected to a cam shaft to rotate the crank shaft by driving an engine. The driving power of the engine is transmitted to the cam shaft by the silent chain. The link plate of the silent chain, the insertion hole face of the guide link plate, a phenolic resin layer(60) that is a circumference of the pin rotate while contacting with their faces thus noise is not generated. The noise is buffered in the phenolic resin layer.
