PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL DRIVING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel driving apparatus is provided to minimize the number of photoconductive devices by mounting a photoconductive device between two different microcomputers. CONSTITUTION: A first controller(54) produces control data for controlling a driving integrated circuits(50A-50H). A second controller(58) drives the first controller(54). A photoconductive device(52) transmits a signal from the second controller(58) to the first controller(54) in light. The ground levels of the first controller(54) and the second controller(58) are different to each other. The ground levels of the first controller(54) and the driving integrated circuits(50A-50H) are the same. A waveform generator(56A, 56B) may be added for supplying a scan pulse, high and low potential voltages to the driving integrated circuits(50A-50H).
