摘要 nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method relates to technology of producing primary and secondary alloys of Al-Si systems, precisely, to stage of alloying aluminum melts with silicon. The method involves production of aluminum-silicon alloys with use of alloying of silicon fine fraction including preparation of fused together silicon fine fractions (up to 10 mm) with flux and its introduction into aluminum melt. Flux is used in the form of metal chlorides fusion cake based on CuCl2 and fused mass is prepared in weight ratio of (5-6):1 and introduced into melt at temperature equalling 1.03-1.06 of flux melting point. In use of the claimed method as compared with prototype, silicon degree of assimilation rises more than by 10% and metal metallurgical yield increase by 5%, degree of removal of H2 and Al2O3 rises by 25 and 35, respectively. In addition, no additional charging of alloy with copper is needed as elementary copper passes from fusion cake based on CuCl2 into melt due to reaction of CuCl2 with liquid aluminum. Invention ensures increasing of degree of assimilation of silicon fine fractions ( <10 mm ) and metal metallurgical yield due to reduced losses of silicon and aluminum in slags, and improved quality of alloy (its mechanical properties) due to reduced content in alloy of hydrogen and aluminum oxide.
