A method of transmitting one or more data streams to a mobile terminal (410) having multiple network connections, the method comprising the steps of sending the one or more data streams from a correspondent host (420) to a ho me agent (430) located in the home network of the mobile terminal (410), the mobile terminal (410) sending a request for the data stream to be transmitte d by the correspondent host (420) and the mobile terminal (410) communicating with the home agent (430) to transmit the network location of the mobile terminal (410) to the home agent (430); and then forwarding the one or more data streams via the foreign agent (450) to the mobile terminal (410), characterised in that the mobile terminal (410) communicates network connectivity data to the home agent (430) and that the forwarding of the one or more data streams is dependent upon the network connectivity data receive d by the home agent (430).
