<p>A large-capacity tank type container for which sufficient strength can be ensured and that is externally protectable and can efficiently transport polycarbonate resin pellets both by land and by sea. The container comprises a long-sized, lying-flat drum type tank body (3), and a square box-like container frame (5) surrounding the tank body, the tank body being provided at the upper front end with a charge pipe (20) and at the rear lower end with a discharge pipe (21) and being externally provided with an air feeder for feeding compressed air used to discharge polycarbonate resin pellets. These tank body, charge pipe, discharge pipe and air feeder are stored in a space surrounded by the container frame, and a locking metal fixture (6) is engageable with a locking mechanism on the deck (4) of a trailer.</p> |
