PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling house having a maisonette in which wide-frontage maisonette type dwelling units can be fitted within the economical span of a column. SOLUTION: Dwelling units 11 constructed of a main frame consisting of a boundary floor 12, columns 13, and beams 14 are laminated on plural stories, with at least part of the dwelling units 11 being of the maisonette type. Two of the maisonette type dwelling units 11 are provided parallel to each other within one span L of the column 13 and an upper boundary wall 23a separating the upper stories 11a of the two dwelling units 11 and a lower boundary wall 23b separating the lower stories 11b of the two dwelling units 11 are arranged to deviate from the center 24 of the one span L in opposite directions.
