PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit easy inspection by installing an operation valve for hydraulic actuator driving a lower traveling body or the like in a machine chamber of an upper turning body and a turning machinery equipped with a turning motor for an upper turning body and by locating an inspection step almost at a midpoint between the operation valve and the turning machinery. SOLUTION: An upper turning body is mounted in a freely rotatable manner in an upper portion of a lower traveling body, and also a turning machinery equipped with an operation valve for hydraulic actuator driving a lower traveling body and a working machine and with a turning motor for turning the upper turning body is mounted inside the machine chamber arranged to the upper turning body. An inspection step 12 is arranged at almost midpoint between the operation valve 10 and the turning machinery 9 and is attached to an attaching bracket 11 of the operation valve 10 through a bracket 13. Thus, a worker who stands on this inspection step 12 is able to stabilize his body and closely see and examine the positions for inspection for the operation valve 10, turning machinery 9 and its auxiliary equipment.
