The circuit has at least three macro circuits, each containing a logic circuit and a memory circuit and a number of input and output connections and signal lines for connecting the macro circuits together into a loop for transferring signals synchronously with a timing signal in a specific direction round the loop. Each macro circuit receives the signals at its input connections, accepts the signals if the received signals are designated for it, and transfers the received signals to its output connections without accepting them if they are not designated for it. An Independent claim is also included for a signal transmission method.
