A distribution cubicle for the communal supply has a housing (1,24) with front, back and side walls, of which at least one is adapted to be a door. The arrangement of one of the walls allows inserts without shape or dimension changes. At least one of the walls has a curved shape. At least on one outer side of the housing, a cover is provided. In the region between cover and outer side of the housing, information carriers can be located. The outside of the housing provided with the cover (6) is designed to be transparent at least in a partial region. The housing has inside illumination. The cover is provided on the front door (2) and is arranged to pivot relative to the front door.
