The furniture modules are boxes (3,4,22) or boards (28) which can be combined in various ways in order to serve as storage units or worktops. Each of the modules (3,4,22,28) is provided with a bore (6) in every corner. The bores (6) consist of an upper and a lower segment (8,9), the upper segment having a wider diameter (10) than the lower (11). Joint elements (15) of the same shape can be inserted into the holes (6), preventing the modules (3,4,22,28) from sliding. The modules (3,4,22,28) can be easily assembled to live-in landscapes, or buildings like a castle, etc., inspiring the creativity in particular of a child.
