medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves symmetrically setting end phalanges of fingers into intervertebral spaces on the line connecting lateral surface of the vertebral bodies. Pressure is applied in the same symmetrical mode in performing slow movements penetrating into the depth during 5 to 30 s. The movements are done at an angle of 90 deg to arch-and-process articulations, 60 deg in the thoracic segment, 45 deg in vertebral motor segments from C7 to C3, 70-75 deg from C3 segment to C1 and C0 with functional blockage eliminated in the arch-and- process articulations that is to be detected from the beginning of available lordosis growth in lumbar and cervical regions and from reduction of kyphosis in the thoracic region. Pressure is retained during 15-to 30 s. This action is to be applied to every vertebral motor segment of lumbar, cervical and thoracic region. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. |
