SNATCH DISCONNECTION LANYARD

A snatch connector (7, 9) is provided with a disconnection lanyard assembly (2, 4, 6, 10, 44, 52) comprising a tensioner assembly including a spreader bar (4), cables (6, 10) and a cable reel. (2). The reel (2) may be set to allow paying out of the cable (6)or t o pull in the cable 6 and when set to pull in, will resist paying out of the cable(6), thereby providing a tensile force for snatch disconnection.
