An absorption air-conditioning unit comprises a desorber (1) with an upper region (2) and a lower region (6), an exhaust flap (3) located in an exhaust pipe (4), a pipe (5) located before the exhaust gas flap that is connected with the lower region of the desorber, a liquefier (11) and an evaporator (15) between which a control valve (14) is located. An absorber (19) is connected to the evaporator and a heat exchanger (24). The latter's colder side is connected via a pump (22) with the absorber and via a pipe (26) with the upper region of the desorber. Its warmer side is connected via a control valve (28) to the absorber and via a pipe (25) with the upper region of the desorber.
