The circuit comprises an ammeter connected in series to the load, which is connected to a comparator unit (V). A current conversion unit (R2) is connected to an evaluation unit (S). The comparator unit controls the current through the evaluation unit, as a function of a reference value prepared by the current conversion unit. A current mirror (T1,R3) may be connected between the current conversion unit and the evaluation unit. The current mirror is controlled from the output of the comparator unit such that the voltage drop across the current measuring unit is almost equal to the voltage drop across the current conversion unit. |
