PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonslip device for a tire which exercises braking characteristics not inferior to spiked tires on a frozen road surface and can be detached as easily as chains and such. SOLUTION: This nonslip device for tire consists of rope bodies 1 and antiskid fittings 31 and 32 fixedly provided to the rope bodies 1, and is attached to a tire outer periphery by fitting the rope bodies 1 into a recessed groove peripherally provided to a tire outer periphery surface and detachably connecting both ends. Connect fittings 21 and 22 are two rope bodies 1 inserted from both ends of compression springs 26 and the ends are fixed by anti-loosening fittings. The rope bodies 1 and compression springs 26 function so as to prevent break off by pulling the connect fittings 21 and 22.
