Then the image is reflected by a variable prism, and passes through an image forming lens 29, enters a color dividing prism 30 to be decomposed to be respective colors of blue, green and red. They respectively form images at image pickup elements 31a to 31c and converted to electric signals, which are converted to digital image data to be recorded in a recording medium by an image recording means and this recorded eyeground image Er' is reduced on a television monitor 35.
