PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open and close smoothly a non-pleated curtain, improve its artistry, and improve the durability of curtain hooks. SOLUTION: This cover member has a cover body 1 of a nearly inverted U cross section or a nearly inverted J cross section that is placed over the top portion of a non-pleated or box-pleated curtain and pinches the front and the reverse of the top portion of the curtain from the top end, and a mounting portion 3 to a curtain hook that is attached detachably to the curtain hook on the rear 22 of the cover body 2 located on the reverse side of the top portion of the curtain. The front 21 of the cover body 2 is extended in opposition to the insertion rod 53 of the curtain hook with the top of the curtain pinched.
