PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify updating of all existing machines in a given period by providing a software medium where updating software for enabling the use of a supplementary symbol through one key is recorded and the keys for additionally carrying the expression of the supplementary symbol. SOLUTION: This kit is provided with the software medium where the updating software for enabling the use of the supplementary symbol through one key is recorded and the mutually changeable keys for additionally carrying the expression of the supplementary symbol. By replacing the key on a keyboard and adding a software module to a digital data processing system or the like, all devices are provided with a function for printing the supplementary symbol such as euro for instance through one simple key stroke. The keyboard for a digital system is provided with the keys provided with many functions. Then, by pressing one key, a numeral or a symbol is printed.
