PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To color-display the one or a plurality of characteristics of the movement of a material such as the blood flow of the first part and second part of a patient and to improve diagnostic performance by providing plural logic units for executing different algorithms based on the type of an inspection to be executed. SOLUTION: A transducer array 11 composed of the plurality of different pieces of driving elements 12 for respectively generating the burst of ultrasonic energy at the time of being supplied with energy by a pulse waveform generated in a transmitter 13 is provided and the ultrasonic energy reflected from the patient to the transducer array 11 is transduced to electric signals by respective transducer elements 12 and added through a transmission/reception switch 15 to a receiver 14. At the time, a digital controller 16 provided with the plurality of logic units for executing the different algorithms based on the type of the inspection to be executed is equipped and scanning is controlled so as to supply appropriate delay so as to sample echo signals in a continuous range R and dynamically converge them to a point P along a beam. |
