PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the noise to be generated by a collision of a socket with a plunger by connecting the socket and the plunger through a pin freely to be rotated, and providing an elastic body in the periphery of the plunger positioned between plates of the socket. SOLUTION: A plunger 4 is formed with a small diameter part 15 at a tip thereof. An elastic ring 16 is fitted in the small diameter part 15 while enlarging the diameter of the small diameter part 15. Since the elastic ring 16 fitted in the small diameter part 15 is fixed to the small diameter part 15 by the restoring force, it is hard to pull it out of the small diameter part 15. This elastic ring 16 contacts with both plate parts 6, 7 of a socket. As a result, at the time of traveling, even if vibration is generated in a jack, collision of the plate parts 6, 7 of the socket with the plunger 4 is avoided. Consequently, noise of the jack during the traveling can be perfectly prevented.
