PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel coryneform bacterium for producing L-arginine that has the capability of producing L-arginine, has increased activity of the intercellular argininosuccine synthase and is useful in a liver function promoter, an amino acid infusion solution, amino acids complex preparation. SOLUTION: This is a novel coryneform bacterium that has a capability of producing L-arginine and enhanced activity of intracellular argininosuccinic acid synthase [for example, Corynebacterium glutamicum AJ12092 (FERM P-7273) or the like and is used for producing L-arginine that is useful as a component for a liver function-promoting agent, an amino acid infusion solution, amino acids complex preparation. This coryneform bacterium is obtained by linking a gene encoding the argininosuccinic acid synthase derives from the coryneform bacterium (argG) to a vector to prepare a recombinant vector, transducing the vector into the coryneform cell host to increase the copying number of the gene. |
