PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming condition deciding method for deciding image forming conditions, which influence toner image density at forming of a toner image based on the image of an original on a recording sheet in an image forming device and for deciding image forming conditions, with which the density of the toner image can be made the specified one more accurately than in the conventional manner at the formation of the toner image based on the image of the original. SOLUTION: Plural reference toner patches are formed on the image forming conditions which differ from each other (step S6). Thus, plural reference toner patches having different densities are formed. The density of each of plural formed reference toner patches is detected (step S7). Correlation between the density and the image forming condition is obtained from the density of each of plural reference toner patches and the image forming condition at the formation of the reference toner patch, and the image forming conditions such that the density becomes a prescribed density decided from the obtained correlation (step S8). |
