<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method and welding equipment capable of welding without any problem when the weld line of a member to be welded is curved on the way and also capable of easily setting the program of a controller. SOLUTION: A first and second prism 15, 16 are accommodated in an optical head 11, and both prisms 15, 16 to deflect a laser beam from an optical axis, when the laser beam L is made incidence into both prisms 15, 16 and emitted, are supported by a rotation support mechanism and rotated by a motor. The converging point of the laser beam, in order to turn around the optical axis at a prescribed radius, is relatively moved while turning the weld line S along the weld lines of members W1, W2 to be welded so as to cross the weld line S, so that welding is conducted.</p> |
