PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect relative humidity in a living space and utilize the detected relative humidity for controlling air conditioning operation and for display. SOLUTION: A control means 2 corrects relative humidity detected by a relative humidity detecting means 7 which is disposed in an air conditioning indoor unit 1, and obtains relative humidity in a living space. The correction is made on the basis of the temperature difference between the living space and a space in the vicinity of the relative humidity detecting means 7, the temperature of the space in the vicinity of the relative humidity detecting means 7, and an operation status of the indoor unit 1. The control means 2 computes absolute humidity on the basis of the relative humidity detected by the relative humidity detecting means 7 and the temperature detected by a temperature detecting means 8 and obtains relative humidity on the basis of the computed absolute humidity and the temperature in the living space. Further, the control means 2 controls air conditioning operation in accordance with the obtained relative humidity and displays the obtained relative humidity in a display means 5. |
