PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic diaphragm which satisfy sound characteristic of density, a modulus of elasticity, and internal loss at high level by using a high polymer material. SOLUTION: The sound diaphragm thermally molded in a necessary shape by a heating metal mold is obtained by using hardening resin-impregnated foamed sheet material impregnated with organic solvent dispersing liquid containing diaryl terephthalate resin and/or unsaturated polyester resin and foamed thermoplastic fine spheres or hardening resin-impregnated foamed sheet material which is previously heated and foamed.
