PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an armrest of a uniform quality by decreasing a dispersion of soft feeling of an upper side surface in the armrest wherein a skin is molded integrally with the other part. SOLUTION: A cushion material 25 provided by molding a soft elastic body in a platy state is previously fixed to an outer surface of one side part 21a of an upper surface of an insert 21 formed in an almost L section form, and the insert is supported so that its inner surface comes in contact with a support face 32 of an insert support mold 31. A cavity C of an almost uniform thickness is formed between mold surfaces 34, 36 of partial molds 33, 35 to be bonded to the insert support mold, and the insert and the cushion material, and thermoplastic resin to become a skin which is harder than the cusion material by cool curing and has an appropriate flexibility is filled into the cavity. The cusion material is a soft resin foam, and the cushion material is preferably fixed in a recessed part 22 formed on a part of an outer surface of one side part of the insert.
