PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the door opening work when a door-lock accident is generated by integrally forming a door lock push-up part, a first extension part, a door rail recess folding part, a second extension part, a handle recess folding part and a third extension part with each other while using a wire material having a thickness capable of being inserted into a clearance between a door and a jamb. SOLUTION: At the time of door opening work when door-lock accident of an elevator car is generated, a handle 8 of a door outer opening tool 1 is held, and a door lock push-up part 2 is made to come close to a clearance between a door and a jamb. Continuously, the door lock push-up part 2, a first extension part 3, a door rail recess folding part 4 are inserted into the clearance between the door and the jamb, and thereafter, the handle 8 is turned at 90 degree so as to avoid the interference of the handle 9 with a door rail 11. In this condition, the door outer opening tool 1 is pushed upward so as to rotate a lock fitting 12A of the door lock 12, and the lock condition is thereby released. The door is towed for opening, and the door-lock condition is canceled.
