PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor storing data for data management in a storage medium which can be attached/detached in accordance with the data storage to the storage medium that can be attached/detached and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: When recording paper is absent in a recording part 2, picture data received through NCU 3, modem 4 and a modem control part 5 are stored in a diskette 16 through FDC 14 and FDD 15 in accordance with the control of a center control part 20. Then, management data managing picture data are generated in the diskette 16 and system a RAM 12 of a memory part 10. When picture data which are stored in the other device and are not recorded yet exist, they are recorded in the recording part 2 on the basis of management data. |
