PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the number of lines which can connect a call even if same incoming information are simultaneously received from plural lines at the time of an incoming call in the line notifying incoming information. SOLUTION: In a private exchange 100 storing plural lines such as dial-in lines and extension terminals, which notify incoming information of an incoming number at the time of an incoming call, a station subscriber telephone set 108 dials a line number decided in a public network 107, which corresponds to a central office 104. Thus, the incoming signal arrives at the central office 104 and the private branch exchange 100 recognizes that the incoming call arrives from the public network 107. Incoming information (line number) is received with a known procedure, which is previously decided between the public network 107 and the private branch exchange 100. A pertinent extension terminal 106 is call-connection-controlled by analyzing incoming information in a central control unit 102. When same incoming information are received from the plural lines, the incoming call of the line when the line exceeds the number of lines that, can simultaneously connect the call, is limited.
