PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform handling of an oil coated coil and a non-oil coated coil without re-covering their felt. SOLUTION: Arms 6R and 6L capable of being turned around by 180 deg., are provided for both the ends of a beam 5, and a first pawl 14 and a second pawl 15 are pivoted on each place close to the lower ends of the arms 6R and 6L respectively in such a way that they can rise and fall. The first and second pawls 14 and 15 are so regulated by the guiding surface 12G of each guide fitting 12 when they are rotated, so as to allow one (the first pawl 14) to be projected to the side way, and also allow the other (the second pawl 15) to be housed in each groove 16. Therefore, when the first pawl 14 and one surface of felt F are used for hadling an oil coating coil, and when the second pawl 15 and the other surface of felt F are used for handling a non-oil coated coil, even if the coil is changed over, there is no need for re-covering the felt at all.
