PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cab with good appearance for construction equipment capable of being designed freely, coping with the alteration of connecting pipes in a short time and at a low cost, minimizing the number of after-installations such as seal flanges and slide rails, and reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: In a skelton-type cab for construction equipment, a framework 31 is constituted of a plurality of pipes forming frame posts 32, 34, cross members 38, 39, and connecting members 42, 43, etc., and cast iron-made joints for joining adjacent pipes at required places. The framework 31 is constituted of a pipe-made front post, a pipe-made roof side 33, a pipe-made rear post, right and left side frames consisting of cast iron-made upper joints for connecting the above members at front/rear bent parts, an upper cross member for connecting the fore-and-aft joints, and longitudinal/lateral connecting members for connecting the fore-and-aft lower ends of the side frames via the cast iron-made joints.
