PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold material which is cured in a short time and shows high operating efficiency during mold fabrication and reliable recycling properties by adding an inorganic filler to the materials composed of agarose and agaropectin having appropriate hardness and elasticity as a heteroglycan material. SOLUTION: A heteroglycan material 4 to be used as a base mold material 5 shows characteristics such as easy melting even at comparatively lower temperatures, smooth fluidity during melting and curing in a short time by cooling. Above all, a two-component system material 4 of agarose and agaropectin shows minimal curing shrinkage and appropriate hardness and elasticity. The mixing ratio of these components is, for example, 70% agarose and 30% agaropectin. In addition, inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate, silica sand and talc are added to the heteroglycan material 4. Thus it is possible to significantly shorten curing time and consequently cut time required for manufacturing a mold and further utilize the material 4 for recycling purposes by thermally remelting after its use.
