PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly improve the issues of the efficiency, power factor, and cost of the main body of a motor controller and to reduce higher harmonics or electromagnetic noise from a power source, the noise produced by waveform distortion, etc., by directly controlling an AC voltage at good timing and, at the same time, to cut the excessive power when a motor is operated with a light load, and then, to save the power consumption of a device applying the motor. SOLUTION: A motor controller is constituted in such a way that the input side of a control switch S composed of switches SW1, SW2, and SW3 is connected to three-phase power supply terminals U, V, and W and the input terminals R, S, and T of a motor M are connected to the output side of the switch S. Then an impedance Z is connected to the input terminals R, S, and T and the input side of a voltage detecting section VD is connected to the power supply terminals U, V, and W. In addition, the output side of the detecting section D is connected to the input side of a control section, and the output side of the control section is connected to the control terminal C of the control switch S. |
