PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for ensuring prevention of incomplete connection due to careless unlocking between a post and a connector housing. SOLUTION: Terminal connecting holes 11 in a connector housing 10 are fitted and connected to pin terminals 3 of a post 1 and a locking pawl 12 of the connector housing 10 is locked with a locking pawl 4 of the post 1 in a lockable manner. A guard member 20 is detachably mounted to a locking area where the post 1 and the connector housing 10 locked via the respestive locking pawls 4, 12 to guard the periphery of the locking area from outer force F.
