PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous type cooling device, capable of cleaning the inside of the cooling device easily and surely while effecting sanitation management sufficiently. SOLUTION: In a continuous type cooling device, the inside of a casing 1 is defined by a partitioning plate 2 into an upper chamber 1A and a lower chamber 1B, a conveyor 4, transferring a matter to be cooled into horizontal direction, is provided in the lower chamber while cooling air is blown against the matter to be cooled on the conveyor in the lower chamber through a multitude of slit type air outlet ports, bored on the partitioning plate. In this case, the easing 1 is constituted of an upper casing 10, surrounding the upper chamber 1A, a central frame body 11, supporting the partitioning plate 2, and a lower easing 12, surrounding the lower chamber 1B, while the upper casing 10 is connected to the central frame body 11 and the central frame body 11 is connected to the lower casing so that the upper casing 10 and the central frame body 11 can be opened and closed freely.
