PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a grinding wheel from clogging so as to prolong its use life and to prevent the grinding and polishing capacity from lowering, by bonding grinding wheel-like members to a shaft to be rotated, through the intermediary of a rotatable elastic body so as to enable a tool with a shaft to be flexible in its entirety so as to obtain a split grinding wheel divided into a plurality of pieces. SOLUTION: A tool 1 with shaft such as a grinding wheel mounted on a tool unit for deburring a workpiece after processing, comprises a shaft 2 coupled to a rotary drive motor, which is inserted and fixed in a rotary body 3 made of an elastic body. Grinding wheel-like bodies 4 are mounted to the rotary body 3 on the side adapted to make contact with the workpiece during deburring therefor.
