PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile device which can start transmission at a designated time without being interrupted by a direct transmission. SOLUTION: The facsimile device provided with a time designation transmission means starting the transmission of a time-designated transmission file at a designated time is provided with a time management part 1 which judges whether the time immediately before the designated transmission time of the transmission file by a prescribed time has arrived or not when the time designation transmission file waiting for transmission exists, and a transmission management part 2 which inhibits direct transmission when the time management part 1 tells the time immediately before destination time has arrived. When plural time designation transmission files whose designated transmission time is similar exist, a system control part 3 is so constituted to transmit the transmission files in the order for increasing the idle capacity of a picture memory 7 much more in short time.
